Released in 1995, 'Now and Then' featured a cast of rising child stars as four friends coming of age in the 1970s, dealing with divorce, death and becoming young women, who reunite later in life to reflect on how far they've come. Bolstered by the star power of more established actresses, like Demi Moore and Melanie Griffith, the film was sort of a female version of 'Stand By Me,' and loved by both critics and audiences alike. Nineteen years later, we take a look back at the cast of this modern classic and see what they're up to now.
Our Sundays will be all-too quiet for the next few weeks thanks to our precious holidays, but the 'Girls' season 3 premiere on January 12 gets closer and closer. The first photos of the new season have emerged to complement the most recent trailer, and there's at least one return we hadn't yet expected!
As the opening sketch of this Sunday's Emmys reminded us, 'Girls' features an impressive amount of nudity from unexpected sources. Fans new to the series might have been surprised to see newfound star Lena Dunham whipping off her top so quickly, but even more-so by one-time 'Freaks & Geeks' star Becky Ann Baker, playing her mother. As the show gears up for its second season in January, can you guess what upcoming guest-star Rita Wilson doesn't want to do?
'Girls' season 2 won't begin airing until January of 2013, but given its long production schedule we've been able to observe it filming since as far back as May. And while our last peek at the set told us that 'Community' star Donald Glover might appear, the latest look reveals Tom Hanks' wife herself, Rita Wilson! But who will the actress portray, and might Hanks himself make an appearance?
