Star Wars Rebels won’t officially conclude its fourth and final season until 2018, but both Rogue One and the animated Forces of Destiny have offered tantalizing clues. Now, the latest short definitively answers the fate of several Rebels figures beyond Rogue One, and potentially into the new trilogy.

At long last, The Ghost has its final heading. Star Wars Rebels has booked an October premiere for the fourth and final season, releasing a brand-new trailer tying the animated series directly to Rogue One.

Star Wars Rebels fans were elated to find their beloved characters and ships ported to live-action for Rogue One; not only for the animated series’ validation, but also a chance to revisit the film from another perspective. Sadly, even as Rebels will close out the series with Season 4, bosses confirm we won’t be going Rogue again.

We’re still reeling from the announcement that Star Wars Rebels Season 4 will end the series, but equally excited to catch up with the films.
