Hot on the heels of yesterday's character posters, Universal has released the 'A Million Ways to Die in the West' trailer, giving us the first footage of Seth MacFarlane's live-action western comedy -- and it is really, really taking advantage of that red-band warning. There's blood, loads of profanity, and plenty of that crass humor we've come to associate with MacFarlane's endeavors. And Sarah Silverman's playing a prostitute, so you can imagine how that plays out.

Seth MacFarlane is following up his live-action directorial debut, 'Ted,' with 'A Million Ways to Die in the West,' a satirical Western-comedy with an all-star cast. Regardless of how you feel about MacFarlane's animated projects, like 'Family Guy' and 'American Dad,' his latest effort is sure to get butts in seats ... especially after you take a gander at these new character posters, featuring some pretty pun-tastic, old-timey captions.

After the massive success of his directorial debut, 'Ted,' 'Family Guy' creator Seth MacFarlane had the clout to make pretty much whatever he wanted for his second feature. A Western comedy called 'A Million Ways to Die in the West' probably wasn't the easiest project to push through development (the difficult word for the studio must have been "Western"), but we've got to commend MacFarlane for making a film that appears to be significantly different than his previous work. The first image from the film has arrived online, and it features three things that we can't wait to see and one that we're very unsure about.

December fools! Following weeks of return speculation after 'Family Guy' killed off one of its most iconic characters, going as far as to replace him in the opening credits, Sunday night's "Christmas Guy" saw a yuletide miracle return the character to life, after all. Series creator Seth MacFarlane even reached out to confirm the resurrection, poking fun at the gullibility of audiences outraged by the death.

Don't start trumpeting the online petitions just yet, but it seems 'Family Guy''s recently deceased character may have beaten death, after all. After rumors of stunt plotting and public outcry, it seems the Griffin family's departing member will indeed return to the series as early as December 15, with a recurring presence to maintain in future episodes.

Well, that didn't take long. Just days after 'Family Guy' aired its apparent shocker episode "Life of Brian," which saw a seemingly permanent end to its titular character, protests sprang up around the web for FOX's Seth MacFarlane series to revive the character. Now, a mysterious announcement website has emerged, along with a new episode description that may suggest Brian's return coming sooner than we think.

While 'The Simpsons' made waves earlier this year in promising to kill off one of its ancillary characters, 'Family Guy' had promised even more this past summer in threatening to kill off one of its leads. The reaper finally came to pass in last night's time-traveling "Life of Brian," but who from the Griffin family ultimately got the axe?

Though we still have a month or so of programming left, FOX has already begun making some major changes in its midseason lineup that may bode ill for previously safe offerings. 'Glee' in particular will move out of its Thursday slot back to Tuesdays, while oft-maligned Seth MacFarlane comedy 'Dads' will undergo a hiatus in 2014, alongside new episodes of 'The Mindy Project.'

Meanwhile, the network has also plotted 'The Following's January premiere to coincide with the 'Sleepy Hollow' finale, a spring break for 'Glee' and more!

We've been hearing about 'Ted 2' since...well, since the first 'Ted' became a box-office sensation and made $550 million worldwide. But, since then, we've had precious little in the way of actual updates. Sure, everyone - including star Mark Wahlberg and writer/director Seth MacFarlane - want it to happen, but would it actually happen? MacFarlane took to Twitter and let everyone know that it is happening and exactly when you'll be able to see it.
