You didn’t think AMC would let The Walking Dead Season 6 fianle weekend go by without a sneak peek of its next big horror hit, did you? You best go see the Preacher, now that the AMC comic drama has a brand-new teaser trailer filled with new footage.

You might not know it by the solemn first trailer, but AMC’s long-awaited Preacher adaptation will bring plenty of weirdness and colorful characters with outlandish afflictions. Case in point, the first official photo of Eugene “Arseface” Root has arrived, a bit scaled down from the comics, but no less unseemly.

A couple of new parents facing off with a house full of frat bros is a pretty funny idea (and made for a pretty funny movie), but there’s something even more inherently hilarious about the notion of a grown man and his wife battling it out with sorority sisters. That seems like a fairly easy sequel concept for Neighbors 2: Sorority Rising, but it’s hard not to laugh at Seth Rogen and Chloe Moretz violently glaring at each other in this new poster.

It’s been a long road to get Preacher in live-action, and at last we know when that road will end. AMC has officially set a May premiere for the Seth Rogen-Evan Goldberg adapted series, serving up a smokey new poster of our new Preacher in action.

Studios have been trying to replicate the success of Phil Lord and Chris Miller’s The LEGO Movie, with films based on Play-Doh, Minecraft, Playmobil and more in the works. And while we’ve yet to see exactly how these attempts will pan out, we can add another one to the pile as Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg have signed on to produce a movie based on the Where’s Waldo? series of books.

Seth Rogen was already planning on attending SXSW to premiere to first episodes of his upcoming AMC series Preacher, starring Dominic Cooper. Now Rogen has decided if he’s going to be at SXSW anyway, he might as well bring one of his upcoming films with him. The actor-director will premiere a “work in progress” print of his first animated film, Sausage Party, with a cast that includes Kristen Wiig, Jonah Hill, Paul Rudd and more.

Now that one post-apocalyptic universe has been laid to rest, The Hunger Games star Josh Hutcherson ventures to Hulu in search of another. The erstwhile Peeta Mellark will topline Hulu's upcoming Future Man comedy from Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg, the duo's latest TV venture after Preacher.
