The closer we draw to December’s end, the closer we are to new Sherlock in the form of one-off Victorian special “The Abominable Bride.” We’ve seen a few photos to date, but now the lady in question makes herself known in a new Sherlock trailer for the 2016 premiere, veil, shotgun and all.

The BBC’s Sherlock has plenty of Doctor Who in its blood between creators Steven Moffat and Mark Gatiss, but did you know Matt Smith even auditioned for the role of Watson? At long last, the weekend saw Sherlock confirming that Benedict Cumberbatch and Martin Freeman would hit the Victoria era in early January, but there’s even better news than a new trailer. The BBC has confirmed that Sherlock will follow Doctor Who by heading into theaters, so when can we check out Sherlock: The Abominable Bride?

Up until now, Sherlock creator Steven Moffat has been reluctant to label the impending Victorian episode as a “Christmas Special,” and we now know why.
