The scenery is gorgeous. Charlize Theron looks great in close-up and her costumes are spectacular. The special effect of turning all those British character actors into dwarfs is impressive. Um. . .did I mention the scenery is gorgeous?
Yeah, I think I've said all the nice things I can think of concerning 'Snow White and the Huntsman,' a would-be epic that is merely lifeless at best and flat-out insipid at worst.

We've seen plenty of trailers at this point for Universal Pictures' 'Snow White and the Huntsman,' but this time around the studio decided it'd be cool if we knew a bit more of what was going on behind the scenes of the production, from the creation of the Mirror Man to what some of the actors had to endure while on set.

She says she'd love to make more movies with her boyfriend and 'Twilight' co-star Robert Pattinson -- maybe even the film adaptation of the steamy bestseller, 'Fifty Shades of Grey.'

'Snow White and the Huntsman' has a lot going against it. It's the second 'Snow White' movie to come in just a few months ('Mirror, Mirror' hit theaters in late March), it's attempting to put a modern, action-movie spin on the classic fairy tale, and it stars Kristen Stewart, an actress frequently criticized for her wooden line readings.
Yet despite all this, we can't help but think 'Snow White' looks pretty damn good.

So much internet ink has been spilled over 'The Avengers' and 'The Dark Knight Rises' that it's easy to forget that there are plenty of other expensive blockbusters just around the corner. 'Mirror Mirror' has barely been in theaters for less than a couple of weeks and Universal Pictures has already determined that 'Snow White and the Huntsman' is the best movie of them all, so much so that they're willing to put their money where their mouth is with slowly but surely putting together the building blocks for a spinoff movie. What character can be so attractive for them story-wise that they have to move forward with this?
