Two episodes in, and already 'South Park' seems to have reclaimed a bit of magic in the second half of its 16th season. Last week brought us the inspired "Raising the Bar," adding a dash of James Cameron and his wonderful theme song into the mix, while the week prior managed to keep a sarcastic tone near of the entire half-hour through "Sarcastaball." The moment we knew that 'South Park' would be taking on the obese in wednesdays' latest episode "Raising the Bar," it was inevitable that hte long-running Comedy Central satire would find some way ot work in America's newest sweethearts, Honey Boo-Boo and her cringe-inducing TLC family.  But, with Eric Cartman the only big-boned character 'round these parts, how will Eric react to having the limelight shifted off of him?

'South Park' may be old, but last week's "Sarcastaball" proved that the series can still turn on a dime and beat a dead horse joke well into the ground, taking on the recent NFL controversy in a way that kept fans laughing uncomfortably nearly the entire episode. Now, as the show's 16th season gets ready to roll along with its sophomore effort, what topics are left to cover? For a show where the episodes are made ad minimum 6 days in advance of airing, it sure seems like 'South Park' seasons go by quicker and quicker these days.  Not only that, but 16 seasons in, and the boys Matt Stone and Trey Parker show no signs of stopping just yet!  So with 'South Park' season 16 already eight episodes in the can, exactly when will things pick up with the second half?  And what else does Comedy Central have lined up for the fall?
