Several months ago we learned that Stan Lee would not be making a cameo in 'Guardians of the Galaxy,' making it the first Marvel Studios film in which the legendary comic book creator wouldn't be seen -- but now comes word that Lee will be making his traditional cameo appearance after all.

To date, Stan Lee has made a cameo appearance in every single one of the Marvel Studios films (the Iron Man, Hulk, Thor, Captain America and Avengers movies). But, that streak is about to end as Lee confirms that he won't be making an appearance in this summer's 'Guardians of the Galaxy'.

The most common critique of Marvel's 'Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.' lies with the ABC drama's difficulty matching the heights and star power of its cinematic brethren, but the 'Agents' will at least have one Marvel movie staple under their belt in the coming weeks. We all know that Marvel is currently developing 'Ant-Man', 'Black Panther', 'Doctor Strange' and a few other properties for the next phase of their cinematic universe, but one character we haven't heard any updates on is Silver Surfer. So will we ever see the Surfer hop aboard his own movie? One guy in the know - Stan Lee - thinks so!
