J.J. Abrams left the 'Star Trek' universe in a bit of a lurch when he agreed to direct 'Star Wars: Episode 7' for Lucasfilm. Up until this point, Team 'Star Trek' has been very diplomatic, saying that Abrams would still be around to produce 'Star Trek 3' and that they wish him the best on 'Star Wars 7.' But 'Star Trek Into Darkness' star Chris Pine says he's still "disappointed" that Abrams won't be around to direct 'Star Trek 3.'
'Star Trek Into Darkness' hits theaters on May 17th and everybody will be seeing it. Those are just the facts. (That lovely Super Bowl spot only solidified this.)
