It's been an eventful weekend full of Star Wars news and reveals, but Lucasfilm has saved the biggest surprises for last. Sunday's Future Filmmakers panel closes out the three day-long Star Wars Celebration Europe with big announcements for Episode 8 and the Han Solo spinoff. While the panel won't be live streamed as the Rogue One panel was on Friday, ScreenCrush's Erin Whitney is in London to bring you all the latest updates straight from Celebration.

Darth Vader is one of the most iconic villains in movie history. We haven’t seen him since Anakin Skywalker first donned the famous black suit at the end of Revenge of the Sith, but in Gareth Edwards‘ ‘Rogue One: A Star Wars Story,’ Vader is back.

That clip above is the great sizzle reel for Rogue One: A Star Wars Story that just debuted at Star Wars Celebration. But if you were watching the live-feed from the convention, you know that right before the panel wrapped up, Kathleen Kennedy introduced a brand-new Rogue One trailer, that wasn’t streamed live on YouTube. If you weren’t in the room, you were out of luck.

One of the biggest panels at this year’s Star Wars Celebration kicks off at 11AM today: the Rogue One: A Star Wars Story panel. Plenty of special guests are expected included director Gareth Edwards and plenty of members of the film’s cast. Star Wars Celebration is heading to Europe this year, but if you’re a particularly huge fan of the franchise with enough money to spare for a geeky vacation, then it might just be worth the trek to London next month. The latest addition to the festival lineup is a special “Future Filmmakers” panel featuring Lucasfilm president Kathleen Kennedy, Episode VIII director Rian Johnson and more — and yes, there will be some surprises.

The lead time of Star Wars Rebels had Season 3 well in production while we were busy freaking out at Ahsoka’s showdown with Darth Vader, and that lead will bear fruit as early as July. The first look at Star Wars Rebels Season 3 will arrive at Star Wars Celebration Europe, as lucky fans get to partake in the first two episodes.
