The 2016 Golden Globes have been nothing if not consistent with surprises, and following all the unexpected Mozart in the Jungle love, the Best TV Drama went far more reasonably. USA breakout Mr. Robot is your new winner for 2016's Best TV drama, and deservedly so.

It’s been some time since we’ve heard from the front of Hannibal creator Bryan Fuller’s Starz adaptation of Neil Gaiman’s American Gods, last said to be dependent on casting its lead “Shadow Moon.” Whatever progress has been made at least, Starz confirms that production will begin this year, in Canada.

Star Wars: The Force Awakens won’t finish breaking box-office records anytime soon (er, technically it will after overtaking Avatar), but inevitably, J.J. Abrams’ entry into the Star Wars saga will have to land on TV. And rather than any major FX debut, HBO run or even streaming option, The Force Awakens will play on Starz before all.

Starz / AMC
Both the Deadites of Ash vs. Evil Dead and walkers of The Walking Dead occupy disparate corners of the undead spectrum, but since when have you known Ash, or Bruce Campbell to play nice? Ol’ Groovy Bruce took a potshot at The Walking Dead, and Rick Grimes may be out of a job.

Anyway, here’s the first sexy trailer, chock full of … you know. Sexy things. Girlfriend things.

‘Ash vs. Evil Dead’ Won’t Cross Chainsaws With Its Remake Just Yet

Starz / Tristar
Ecstatic altogether though we are to have ol’ Groovy Bruce back in the saddle for Starz’s Ash vs. Evil Dead, one can’t help wonder if Ash might cross paths with the rebooted Evil Dead world. We’ve heard Sam Raimi say as much before, but are Ash and Mia going to be vs.-ing the Evil Dead any time soon?

All Hallows’ Eve us almost upon us, and whatever dead may rise, Starz’s Ash Vs. Evil Dead has more than Deadites rising to the occasion. Bruce Campbell’s aging lothario returns in our first four-minute clip from the new Sam Raimi series, and dear Ash hasn’t lost a step before taking on the Evil Dead.
