Starz’s Ash Vs. Evil Dead earned itself a groovy Season 2 pickup before the first run even premiered, and now Bruce Campbell is already dusting off the chainsaw again. Joining Ash this year will be none other than cameo mainstay Ted Raimi, along with The Six Million Dollar Man himself, Lee Majors, in roles key to Ash’s childhood.

It’s been some time since we’ve heard from the front of Hannibal creator Bryan Fuller’s Starz adaptation of Neil Gaiman’s American Gods, last said to be dependent on casting its lead “Shadow Moon.” Whatever progress has been made at least, Starz confirms that production will begin this year, in Canada.

Star Wars: The Force Awakens won’t finish breaking box-office records anytime soon (er, technically it will after overtaking Avatar), but inevitably, J.J. Abrams’ entry into the Star Wars saga will have to land on TV. And rather than any major FX debut, HBO run or even streaming option, The Force Awakens will play on Starz before all.

Both the Deadites of Ash vs. Evil Dead and walkers of The Walking Dead occupy disparate corners of the undead spectrum, but since when have you known Ash, or Bruce Campbell to play nice? Ol’ Groovy Bruce took a potshot at The Walking Dead, and Rick Grimes may be out of a job.

Starz’s Outlander has kept fans waiting long enough for a second season, and may tease a few Sassenachs even longer until its spring 2016 premiere, but at last, some relief is here. Jamie and Claire are headed to France in the first official Season 2 trailer, which itself offers a treasure trove of easter eggs for fans.
