'Bullet to the Head' Gets a Second Trailer

Despite its troubled production, we can't help but remain excited for 'Bullet to the Head', the first collaboration between legendary action star Sylvester Stallone and the equally legendary (at least among serious film buffs) Walter Hill, director of 'The Warriors' and '48 Hours.' The new trailer doesn't do much to dampen our enthusiasm.

If you answered in the affirmative, you'll be pleased to know that it's in the cards: Warner Bros. has given the greenlight to 'Grudge Match', a boxing film that pits Robert De Niro against Sylvester Stallone. That's a combined 135 years of age duking it out, fight fans!

Though it's not due until February 1, 2013, we're pumped for the return of Walter Hill with 'Bullet to the Head.' The film stars Sylvester Stallone, Sung Kang and Jason Mamoa in - what looks to be - a no-nonsense action movie. It's been a while since we've had one of those that wasn't PG-13. Now there's a UK trailer.

'The Expendables 2' -- the sequel to superstar actioner 'The Expendables' -- is not so much the celebration of insane, red-blooded violence and testosterone that feeds the nostalgia of the golden age of action films as it is a sobering display of aging action stars struggling to maintain relevancy in the age of computer-generated effects and the influence of Michael Bay.

For a man fresh out of public office, Arnold Schwarzenegger is a busy man and for a man whose career was dead in the water less than a decade ago, Sylvester Stallone is thriving. Although these two icons will soon meet face-to-face in 'The Expendables 2' (we're not counting Arnie's blink-and-you'll-miss-him cameo in part one), action fans should be happy to know that this looks like the beginning of a beautiful friendship. After all, the two of them are starring in a film called 'The Tomb' together. And hey, there's the first image of the two of them in character!
