Going into its fourth and most anticipated premiere yet, HBO’s Veep suffered a setback last week with the announcement that creator Armando Iannucci would leave the series behind in advance of Season 5, despite informally confirming that the Emmy-winning Julia Louis-Dreyfus political comedy would return for 2016. Now, Silicon Valley joins Veep with an official vote of confidence from HBO through Seasons 5 and 3, respectively.
