Last night’s The Walking Dead seemingly put an end to one of the series’ most important characters, though like a certain Snow-y fella, enough ambiguity allows for some serious speculation. Knowing the immediate fan reaction, Walking Dead showrunner Scott Gimple released a statement promising we’d see said character again … somehow.

The Walking Dead Season 5 may come to a frightful close this Sunday with the AMC horror-drama’s latest attempt to “Conquer” airwaves, but the wait for fresh zombie action won’t prove nearly as long. Not only will we have companion series spinoff Fear the Walking Dead in late summer, but now it seems our first promo trailer will arrive as early as Sunday’s finale.
