Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles

'Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles' is a 2014 reboot of the classic films of the same name, adapted from the comic book source material. Jonathan Liebesman ('Wrath of the Titans') directs and Michael Bay ('Transformers 4') produces the film, which follows the ooze origin story of the Turtles, in which four ordinary turtles are mutated into humanoid creatures after wallowing around in a strange ooze. While no official plot description has been released for 'Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles,' Splinter (played by Danny Woodburn) and Shredder (played by William Fichtner) play parts in the story, while Megan Fox succeeds the likes of Judith Hoag and Paige Turco as news reporter April O'Neil.

'Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles' is starting to ramp up their marketing and will release a new trailer this week (which will surely be in front of producer Michael Bay's new movie 'Transformers: Age of Extinction'). But as we wait for that trailer, new character posters have been released that feature Leonardo, Raphael, Michelangelo and Donatello.

For as long as the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles have existed, there have been Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles toys. With the new movie on the horizon, Playmates revealed a first look at their new line of toys, which include the usual suspects: the turtles themselves, the scrappy reporter April O'Neil, the wise Splinter and the evil Shredder. Interestingly, the toy versions of Splinter and Shredder offer us our best look yet at the new incarnations of these characters.

Fan reaction to the new 'Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles' movie has been mixed, to say the very least, and our first look at the re-imagined supervillain Shredder isn't going to change that. The arch-nemesis of the Turtles' ninja master was once one of the world's greatest (and most evil) martial artists, but now he looks, well, like the Silver Samurai from 'The Wolverine...

The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles are street-level vigilantes, blue-collar crime fighters toiling away in the dirtiest parts of New York City, and the latest batch of posters for their new film is heavily inspired by their lifestyle. Not only does it fit the personalities of the characters, it's far more dynamic than typical Photoshopped junk.

Heroes aren't born, they're created -- that's the message William Fichtner's Shredder gives to Megan Fox's April O'Neil in the latest 'Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles' trailer, which finally brings us face to face with the titular heroic turtles.

It's obvious, even from her facial expressions, that Abby Elliott still has mixed feelings about her time on 'SNL.' Which seems like a completely normal reaction, considering how all-encompassing the demands of that show can be for be anyone, especially someone like Elliott, who had almost four full seasons (she joined the cast for the eighth show of the 2008-2009 season) on the show, and was then

Leonardo, Michelangelo, Donatello and Raphael are ready for battle in the newly released 'Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles' posters. While we don't get a good look at this new breed of heroes (that was kept for the trailer premiere), we do get shots of their hands dramatically gripping their respective weapons. Yeah, they're not all that revealing.

When you think about teenaged mutant turtles with martial arts skills, the first thing that comes to mind is 'Jackass' and when you think about wise, ninja-training mutant rats, the first thing you think about is 'Monk.' Therefore, it's totally and entirely acceptable that Johnny Knoxville has been cast as the voice of Leonardo and Tony Shalhoub as Master Splinter in the upcoming 'Teenage Mutant N
