The Amazing Spider-Man 2
'The Amazing Spider-Man 2,' the sequel to director Marc Webb's first installment in the rebooted Spider-Man film series, has been busy at work filming in the Big Apple. Now, during Comic-Con 2013, Columbia Pictures and Sony brought out stars Andrew Garfield (Spider-Man, Peter Parker), Jamie Foxx (Electro, Max Dillon) and Dane DeHaan (Harry Osborn), producers Avi Arad and Matt Tolmach, and Webb himself for their panel presentation on Friday, Jul. 19 in Hall H.
One of the biggest movies at Comic-Con 2013 is 'The Amazing Spider-Man 2,' which will premiere its first footage to the excited masses in San Diego. Right before the big 'Amazing Spider-Man 2' panel, we sat down to talk with director Marc Webb about the many villains in the film, the Sinister Six and how you think you know what is going to happen in the movie but you're wrong.
From the moment Felicity Jones was cast in 'The Amazing Spider-Man 2,' fans have been wondering who she could possibly be playing and everyone came to the same conclusion: she's playing the Spidey antihero and on-and-off-again love interest known as the Black Cat. But now Jones has dropped a few more hints about her mystery role and it sounds like we were all very, very wrong.
Although 'Amazing Spider-Man' received mixed reviews from fans and critics alike, 'Amazing Spider-Man 2' remains one of the biggest movies to keep an eye on at Comic-Con 2013. After all, modern superhero movies have made a habit of truly getting everything right in the second part (see 'The Dark Knight' and, ahem, 'Spider-Man 2'). The Comic-Con crowd genuinely wants to love everything they see, so if Marc Webb's upcoming sequel looks like a substantial improvement over part one, everyone will undoubtedly go nuts.
Oh, and they've officially revealed the logo for the film. That's probably why you're here, huh?
