As 'The Amazing Spider-Man 2' continues production, to hopefully reveal tons of goodies during Comic-Con 2013, a major cut was made to the cast -- Shailene Woodley's Mary Jane Watson was completely dropped from the second film. Though we, especially those familiar with the comic book storyline, already figured it out, the reason for this change has been revealed.
The Amazing Spider-Man
As 'The Amazing Spider-Man 2' crew is learning, the problem with shooting in the public eye are the paparazzi. Tons upon tons of set photos have already leaked out online, giving us first looks at Jamie Foxx's Electro, Emma Stone's Gwen Stacey and even Spidey's new suit. And now the action keeps coming.
Following director Marc Webb's unveiling of the first "official" photo of Paul Giamatti as the Rhino in 'The Amazing Spider-Man 2,' comes a full-body snapshot of the character wreaking havoc -- as the Rhino tends to do.
With all the snapshots from the set and promotional material already released for 'The Amazing Spider-Man 2,' chances are we'll get to see all there is before the film hits theaters on May 2, 2014. Just the other day, Marc Webb gave us our first look at Jamie Foxx's Max Dillon, and prior to that we saw his transformation into the supervillain Electro. Now, even more behind-the-scenes photos have surfaced. Take a look!
Back before he was James Franco, James Franco starred as Harry Osborn in the original 'Spider-Man' trilogy. Recently he was asked about 'The Amazing Spider-Man' and whether he had seen the new version of Spider-Man. Indeed he had and he had some tough love for the new era of Spider-Man. Finally James Franco breaks his legendary silence on 'The Amazing Spider-Man!'
While Jamie Foxx will soon hit the big screen in the title role of Quentin Tarantino's latest, 'Django Unchained,' the world is still reeling from his next big casting (excuse the pun) shocker -- he'll be starring in Marc Webb's upcoming 'The Amazing Spider-Man 2' as the villain Electro.
Comic book fans know some details about this character already, including his ability to wield electricity, but how close exactly is Webb planning on sticking with his story line from the comics? Fortunately, we don't have think on it much, as Foxx has already revealed the origins of Spidey's nemesis.
New on DVD, Blu-ray and streaming this week, new-school superheroics, two Holiday treats and the complications of love.
