If you thought Hot Toys was only going to release sixth-scale faithful recreations of the Avengers roster as it exists in Avengers: Age of Ultron, you were wrong. The Chinese toymaker just announced a new line of designer figures, which will debut with a collection of six characters from the upcoming Marvel sequel. The Artist Mix line is a new way for Hot Toys to offer a bit more diversity in its catalog, while also allowing the company to partner up with designers and artists that provide a style radically different from what we're used to seeing from the high-end manufacturer. For this first wave, Hot Toys has teamed with toy designer Touma to craft mini, bobble head versions of Iron Man, Captain America and Ultron.

Part of the fun of watching a new Marvel film is figuring out how one movie connects to another in the Cinematic Universe, whether it’s a tiny Easter egg or the descendent of a character from another film. Like the recent ‘Ant-Man’ prequel comic, which revealed how Agent Carter fits into that movie, Marvel has released the official prequel comic for ‘Avengers: Age of Ultron,’ revealing how Loki is involved in the upcoming sequel.

We’ve been hearing bits and pieces about various elements of ‘Avengers: Age of Ultron,’ from the origins of Ultron and Vision to who Andy Serkis might be playing in the film. But we haven’t heard a whole lot about what’s up with Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver, the super-powered twins teased at the end of ‘Captain America: The Winter Soldier.’ What we do know is that they’re going up against the Avengers. What we haven’t known is why…until now. Plus, Marvel has released a bunch of photos from the upcoming sequel, in case you felt like Hulking-out.

It seems very, very unlikely that Joss Whedon will return for ‘Avengers: Infinity War,’ and it’s already been rumored that ‘Captain America’ helmers Joe and Anthony Russo are Marvel’s top picks to take over the two-part finale. Whedon recently expressed how difficult and exhausting it was to make ‘Avengers: Age of Ultron,’ and before he even agree to return for the sequel, there was another superhero film he considered making instead: a female Batman movie.

Hard to believe, but today brings the first TV spot for ‘Avengers: Age of Ultron,’ and while it doesn’t feature much in the way of new footage, it’s definitely not hurting our excitement for the upcoming ‘Avengers’ sequel. “Trouble always comes around,” Samuel L. Jackson’s Nick Fury says in the 30-second spot, and Ultron is most definitely major trouble.

It’s now become common for actors entering Marvel’s Cinematic Universe to sign multi-film contracts, and now that Paul Bettany’s role is expanding from vocal to physical, we’ve been curious to know if we’d be seeing Vision in more films beyond ‘Avengers: Age of Ultron.’ According to Bettany himself, that’s a totally fair assumption, and ‘Age of Ultron’ won’t be last we see of his mysterious new character.

We were on the ‘Avengers 2’ set last year and it was very clear, even though filming was only about halfway done, that Joss Whedon wouldn’t be coming back for another ‘Avengers’ movie. As we mentioned in our interview with him, he was, by his own admission, completely worn out. We didn’t address his future at the time, but now that filming has wrapped and the movie is only about three months away, Whedon was asked point blank about his return, and it’s pretty much what we all expected.

‘Avengers 2’ graced the cover of Empire Magazine this month, and while there are two covers featuring new looks at Ultron and the team’s new lineup, it’s something on the inside of this issue that caught our attention. Director Joss Whedon spoke to Empire and dropped this bomb: “I’ve come to the conclusion that Ultron is right. The Avengers need to die.”

Ever since we saw the second trailer for ‘Avengers: Age of Ultron,’ we’ve all been wondering about the mysterious woman undressing in the cave. We’re not alone in our speculation that this character has something to do with Black Panther’s fictional home of Wakanda, but a new rumor suggests that she’s actually another Marvel comic book character, and one who could play a key role not just in the upcoming sequel, but in the future of the MCU as well.
