The Host

Will Stephenie Meyer have any draw outside of the 'Twilight' franchise (at least cinematically)?  That's the question 'The Host' asks, as Open Road Films is hoping they've got themselves the new hot book adaptation. They're treating it like 'The Hunger Games' and so they're teasing out images from the film. Here's a look at Jake Abel as Ian O'Shea.

Though it doesn't release until March 29, 2013, marketing for 'The Host' has already begun. The second Stephenie Meyer ('Twilight') property to be adapted for the big screen is a sci-fi thriller starring Saoirse Ronan. A vague teaser for the big screen adaptation of Stephenie Meyer's 'The Host' was released a few days ago, but now we've got four new images from the film to go along with it.

Following the intense success of the 'Twilight' series, 'The Host' (another book by Stephenie Meyer) is currently being adapted for the big screen. The first teaser, which will be in theaters this week with 'The Hunger Games', was released today and it's...very much a teaser trailer.
