Uncertain though we were what to make of AMC’s ‘The Walking Dead’ spinning off a “companion series” in 2015, we had to admit our excitement for the possibility of exploring a new corner of the zombie apocalypse. Now, the setting for the AMC monster-drama’s forthcoming spinoff has been revealed, and yes, the City of Angels has officially gone to hell. Well...further, anyway.

It’s that time of the year, when pop culture websites and critics publish their annual Best Of lists and we heap praise on the best and most beloved movies and TV shows of the year. But what about the average moviegoer and TV-viewer? That’s where Facebook comes in. The social media site has released their top 10 movies and top 10 TV shows of the year, based on the most discussed titled of 2014. While some are fairly obvious, the lists might surprise you and inspire you to contemplate the overlap between what’s popular and what’s actually good.

We’ve heard the first two names to join the mysterious “Cobalt” series, and now ‘The Last Airbender’ star Cliff Curtis will take a bite off the male leading role.

AMC's 'The Walking Dead' has gone and left us to wait until February 2015 for new episodes, but that hasn't stopped the spinoff "companion" series from keeping the zombie apocalypse in business. Not only has the new horror-drama series cast Frank Dillane (Voldemort!) and Alycia Debnam Carey, but so too may 'The Walking Dead' spinoff have a new title and focus.

Many moons ago, a lifetime in Internet-land, ‘The Walking Dead’ courted a bit of faux-scandal in interview comments that saw creator Robert Kirkman acknowledging the possibility of the seemingly asexual Daryl Dixon to emerge as a gay character. Despite the unlikelihood of the AMC horror-drama devoting any real time to the matter, now Kirkman has opened up on Daryl’s sexuality to finally set the record…well, straight.
