The first round of 'Thor 2' reviews have arrived online, following the world premiere of the Avenger from Asgard's latest adventure. The film itself doesn't officially open in theaters until November 8, but what are the critics already saying about it? Fans will be pleased to know that they're generally running positive.
Most of what we've seen from 'Thor 2' centers around the returning Avenger (Chris Hemsworth) and his new nemesis, Malekith the Accursed (Christopher Eccleston), but what about this Dark Elf's right-hand man (or should we say, men?) we've been hearing about?
Got 15 minutes? Great, because we have that amount of b-roll footage from the 'Thor 2' set and a butt load of movie stills, including our first up-close look at Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje in the dueled role of Algrim and Kurse.
Thor (Chris Hemsworth) and Loki (Tom Hiddleston) have had a tumultuous relationship. After attempting to destroy his brother and claim the throne of Asgard in 'Thor,' the trickster god unleashed an alien army on New York City in 'The Avengers' and was taken back home in chains for it. But in 'Thor 2,' our title hero will have to put all this aside to defeat a dark new threat.
Failure is not an option for Thor and his brother Loki in the latest international TV spot for 'Thor 2.' As the army of Dark Elves descends upon Asgard and London, these two must team up and prevent the universe from falling into chaos, but not before the god of thunder dishes out some hammer of justice.
Marvel recognizes Tom Hiddleston's Loki as a clear fan favorite of its superhero universe, with more and more of his followers petitioning (literally) for him to get his own solo movie. While the studio isn't done yet with Thor's trickster brother, we're left to wonder what future movies might have in store for him. Well, so does Hiddleston, and he may have already thrown out a story idea involving another comic book trickster, Enchantress.
