Tom Hardy

Tom Hardy, who's had a steady acting career since 2001 with his first role in the TV miniseries 'Band of Brothers,' only broke through into the spotlight after Christopher Nolan's 'Inception.' A few years later, he would eventually achieve even more mainstream success with his turn as Bane in another Nolan film, 'The Dark Knight Rises,' opposite Christian Bale's celebrated Batman. While you'll also recognize this English-born actor from films like 'Warrior' and 'Lawless,' Tom Hardy also nabbed the lead roles in the new 'Mad Max' movie, 'Mad Max: Fury Road,' and the Elton John movie 'The Rocketman.'

In addition to Tom Hardy, the Spider-Man-adjacent Venom is set to star Michelle Williams and Jenny Slate (Jenny Slate! Seriously!). And according to a new report, Woody Harrelson might be getting in on this thing too.

Apparently Carrey still isn’t over it because he re-told the story on this week’s episode of Norm Macdonald Live. In honor (?) of Carrey’s inability to just let this one go already, here are 20 more co-stars who really couldn’t stand working together.

Ever since we all found out about Daniel Craig’s hilarious cameo in The Force Awakens, we’ve all been wondering who’s going to make an appearance in the next Star Wars movie. Since a lot of the movie was shot at Pinewood Studios, 20 miles west of London, it’d be the perfect opportunity for a few celebrity locals to don a costume and pop on the soundstage for a line or two. We heard a while back that not only would Tom Hardy be making a cameo, but also Princes William and Harry as well — and now, thanks to one of the movie’s stars, we know they’ll all be in it for sure.
