Len Wiseman's remake of 'Total Recall' is one of this summer's biggest wild cards. Will audiences flock to a remake of a modern classic that abandons much of what makes the original so beloved? Is Colin Farrell capable of drawing the crowds? Why does the whole thing look so much like 'Minority Report'? So many questions...which is certainly appropriate for a movie that appears to be all about asking questions. The latest TV spot emphasizes the film's memory-wiping, identity-seeking twists alongside all of the futuristic action.

Do you get an overwhelming feeling of déjà vu when you watch the promotional materials for Len Wiseman’s ‘Total Recall?’ You’re not alone. In fact, a YouTube user named Mister Cinestri created a video using footage from Paul Verhoeven’s original 'Recall,' cutting it to match the trailer from the upcoming remake and allowing you to watch both, side-by-side. The similarities between the two are surprising.

Though it's not due out until August 3, 'Total Recall' has already got a TV spot. Which suggests that the new model of media saturation that was so effective for 'The Avengers' is taking hold, and we're going to be inundated with tons of 'Total Recall' for the next two months.
