X-Men: Apocalypse hits theaters tomorrow (technically tonight for you early birds), and you already have a pretty good idea of what you’re going to see in Bryan Singer’s latest X-sequel: bald James McAvoy, young versions of familiar mutants, an unrecognizable Oscar Isaac as the titular villain, etc. You’ve seen the trailers, you get it. But there’s at least one scene that we won’t get to see — at least not in the theater — and the way Bryan Singer describes it, it sounds like it could have been pretty fun.

Director Bryan Singer and producer Simon Kinberg have previously expressed a desire to keep the X-Men franchise going, as they transition their focus onto the younger cast of mutants. That includes Tye Sheridan, who plays Scott Summers, aka Cyclops, in X-Men: Apocalypse. According to Sheridan, that film may just be the beginning of his role in the franchise, as the up and coming actor has signed on for two more sequels.

Most fans were disappointed (to say the least) by X-Men: The Last Stand, which took one of the most popular X-Men arcs — The Dark Phoenix Saga — and turned it into an Evanescence music video that ultimately did Jean Grey and Scott Summers a major disservice. But Bryan Singer is getting another chance with the beloved mutant couple in X-Men: Apocalypse, which will effectively reboot the characters thanks to that timeline reset in Days of Future Past. Singer shares some thoughts on what we can expect from the newer, younger duo, giving us hope for a little Dark Phoenix redemption.

We have a pretty stacked summer ahead of us, kicking off in May with Captain America: Civil War, followed by the (hopefully) equally epic X-Men: Apocalypse. The mutants of First Class and Days of Future Past are no longer the new kids on the block, as younger versions of Jean Grey, Scott Summers and more are getting in on the action in the upcoming sequel. To better familiarize you with the lineup, 20th Century Fox has released several new character posters which boast various mutants old and new along with their respective powers.

Since making his debut in Tree of Life, Tye Sheridan has rapidly ascended the list of the most talented young actors to watch. And if you thought his upcoming role as Cyclops in X-Men: Apocalypse was going to put him at the top of that list, you may have been right, as Sheridan has signed on for another potentially major blockbuster, landing the leading role in Steven Spielberg’s adaptation of Ready Player One.

Make a mental checklist of things you’d expect to see in a red band trailer for a movie titled Scouts Guide to the Zombie Apocalypse. Got it? Okay. Now watch the trailer above and realize that this movie, for better or worse, has it all. We can reserve actual judgment for when the movie actually opens in theaters, but based on this preview, no one can accuse this movie of not going for a “kitchen sink” approach to this concept.

Over the last couple of weeks we’ve gotten some sneak peeks at X-Men: Apocalypse via photos in Entertainment Weekly, featuring new characters like Oscar Isaac’s Apocalypse, Olivia Munn’s Psylocke, and Alexandra Shipp’s Storm. But what about the other new, young mutants? 20th Century Fox has released a gallery of high-res photos featuring Jean Grey, Nightcrawler, Cyclops and more.

It’s a little strange that we haven’t seen a proper teaser or trailer for Scout’s Guide to the Zombie Apocalypse (formerly titled Scouts vs. Zombies), but Paramount has rectified that today with our first look at the upcoming horror comedy. In the fun little video above, we learn how to earn a wildlife badge — it involves dealing with a zombie cat.

Someone should really cut a MTV Real World-style version of this trailer: “This is the story of a group of strangers picked to live in a fake prison. Find out what happens when people stop being polite, and start getting real. The Real World: Stanford Prison Experiment.” There’s your free idea for the day, internet.

After a string of underwhelming films, John Travolta is trying his damnedest (and really giving an effort, judging by this trailer) to deliver. He’s not just faced with the impossible challenge of pulling off the most difficult heist in history in the trailer for The Forger, but he’s also faced with a couple of other challenges: first, to win back the affections of the movie-going public, and second, wearing that ridiculous hair.
