History’s Vikings has grown popular enough to air the length of two full seasons for most dramas each year, and late November will see the decade-spanning warrior drama returning to Season 4. History has officially set a Season 4 return date on a new night and time of the week, along with a fresh synopsis.

These days, it'd take at least two years to watch only only one season's worth of #PeakTV, a quarter of which won't even be around a second year. We saw a first look ahead of Comic-Con 2016, but winds of change really are blowing into History’s Vikings for the second half of Season 4. Ragnar Lothbrok is back to lead his grown-up sons into war, and everything seems to be changing in the full trailer for Vikings' fall return.

History’s Vikings are never at a loss for time jumps, and the second half of Season 4 will prove the most far-flung yet with an elder Ragnar returning to guide his now grown-up sons. As is that hectic production schedule, new footage has already arrived ahead of the full Comic-Con 2016 panel next week.

Considering History opted to expand Vikings Season 4 to an impressive 20 episodes, it’s no surprise the historical drama will raid for a fifth season. This time around, Ragnar Lothbrok will have company, as Jonathan Rhys Myers joins the cast as well.

The world of movie-TV reboots accommodates a great many approaches these days, not the least curious of which will see Liam Neeson’s Taken character Bryan Mills returned to his formative years, yet still in the modern day. We now know which actor will develop his particular set of skills as well, setting Vikings star Clive Standen as our new Taken man.

February will see History’s Vikings going bigger than ever with an extended Season 4, and the latest looks well showcase why. Full photos from the first four episodes have arrived, along with an action-packed new trailer, but what else is there to tease but “Bjorn vs. the Bear”?

As if essentially doubling the Season 4 order weren’t enough to sell the scope of Vikings Season 4, the new trailer should do nicely. History has released a new two-minute sneak peek of the expansive 2016 season, chock full of betrayal, shattering swords and splintered shields.

The Walking Dead may pack conventions just as well as the world of Westeros, but there’s no denying Game of Thrones as the biggest show in the world right now. Case in point, HBO’s epic adaptation has snagged a fourth year as TV’s most pirated series, while newcomers like Supergirl also eke their way onto the list.

History’s Vikings had plundered bounty enough when Season 4 was announced to reach 16 episodes, up from the prior 10, and now Ragnar Lothbrok has gone mad with power. Not only has Season 4 been upped to a full 20 episodes, but so too do we have our February premiere.
