A ways back, FOX opted to dive even further into its revival pool than 24 or The X-Files, as rumors swirled of a possible Prison Break event series. Now, not only has the network confirmed another Prison Break in the works, but so too are original series stars Wentworth Miller and Dominic Purcell onboard.

First came 24: Live Another Day, than Heroes Reborn and The X-Files, and now the revival game has officially unshackled the Scofields. FOX has formally begun development of a Prison Break revival series, to return Wentworth Miller and Dominic Purcell to their wall-busting ways.

Both Arrow and The Flash have already crossed over with each other enough times to make our heads spin, with plenty more to come leading into either CW series’ final episodes this season, not to mention that insane spinoff. Now, the DC dramas come together for their biggest crossover yet, as the CW stars brawl through a “Superhero Fight Club”!

We still don’t know what to make of Arrow or The Flash spinning off The Atom into his own super-team of faces both new and old, but already DC’s TV Avengers may have assembled. A new set photo teases the new team’s first meeting with Barry and Oliver, but what does it mean for either season finale?

Despite a few recent clarifications from Arrow and Flash producers, we still have no idea what to expect from the forthcoming Atom-centric team-up spinoff. The latest casting doesn’t tip the scale either way, though Wentworth Miller’s Captain Cold will be relieved to have some company, as Prison Break brother Dominic Purcell joins the spinoff in his Heat Wave guise.

Puns aside, The Flash will hit the ground running in its March 17 return, kicking off the first of nine episodes that will bring about some major changes to Barry Allen’s world. New footage and teases from creators at PaleyFest promise more DC villains and time-travel terrors to come, along with new speedsters in Season 2, and the biggest burning question of S.T.A.R. Labs answered.

We thought it unlikely that Arrow could spawn yet another CW spinoff to see The Atom joining The Flash but it turns out the network’s real plan is infinitely crazier. The CW is reportedly working on a new series to feature not only Brandon Routh’s Atom, but also Victor Garber’s Firestorm, Wentworth Miller’s Captain Cold, and craziest of all, Caity Lotz’s Black Canary!

It feels like forever since ‘The Flash’ last aired an original episode, so it’s great to finally have this entertaining show back on the air. It’s also a month later in the fictional world of the show when things start back up tonight in “Revenge of the Rogues,” and it seems as if Barry Allen and company are still nursing their wounds from the events in “The Man In The Yellow Suit.” But while plenty of people are hurting in Central City, ‘The Flash’ shows no signs of losing its light touch in the all-too-often dark world of Hollywood comic book adaptations.

FOX’s returning ‘24' as event series ‘Live Another Day’ proved a reasonably successful gamble, but fans of ‘The X-Files’ and ‘Prison Break’ may have much more reason to celebrate. The network has confirmed the possibility of returning either series (or both) for limited runs, even commenting on the fate of future ‘24.’
