The new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles will take on Shredder and the Foot Clan this coming Friday when the film hits theaters, and more than 25 newly released photos from the reboot show off the many, heavily CG-ed characters, like Splinter, Silver Samurai Shredder, April O'Neil and her scrappy camera guy, and, of course, the heroes in a half-shell.

To say 'Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles,' directed by Jonathan Liebesman and produced by Michael Bay, is an improvement from the original films might be a stretch, as longtime 'Turtles' fans have been criticizing the new look of these beloved heroes since the first trailer debuted. Though, what was screened at Comic-Con 2014 revealed a family friendly outing that's less about being a serious reboot and more about embodying the heart and humor of the Turtles.

Among the cast this time around are Megan Fox as curious reporter April O'Neil, Will Arnett as her camera guy Vernon Fenwick, Whoopi Goldberg as her editor, William Fichtner as the villainous Eric Sachs (though, is he really Shredder?), Tony Shalhoub as the voice of Splinter, and the Turtles -- Alan Ritchson as Raphael, Johnny Knoxville as Leonardo, Noel Fisher as Michelangelo, and Jeremy Howard as Donatello.
