For awhile, the marketing for Terminator Genisys sidestepped around the actual plot of the film, selling nostalgia for the older movies in the series and the return of a more grizzled and gray Arnold Schwarzenegger to his signature role. And then the latest trailer arrived and, seemingly out of desperation, gave away the film’s big plot twist. Now, the latest poster for the film gives it away again. Either this reveal isn’t as big of a twist as everyone expected or Paramount is getting a little antsy to get butts in seats.

That twist (and spoilers-that-are-in-the-the-trailer ahead) is that Jason Clarke’s John Connor somehow, though the power of time travel, gets turned into a Terminator and becomes the main villain of the movie. Which means that Emilia Clarke’s Sarah Connor and Jai Courtney’s Kyle Reese must battle their son/father with the help of the fourth Austrian-accented killer robot to get involved in the Connor family’s business. What is this movie?

The poster itself is interesting because the layout would lend itself perfectly to being drawn or painted. If this was the work of an artist and not some Photoshop, it could look pretty cool. Alas, Paramount isn’t in the business of making cool posters. It’s in the business of making posters that say: “Hey! This movie stars Daenerys from Game of Thrones and Arnold is back and John Connor is the bad guy now!

Terminator Genisys opens on July 1.
