'The Avengers 2' only recently begun filming, but images and footage from the set have already begun making their way online, in addition to the first concept art of what will become newcomers Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver. If you're 100% spoilerphobic, you'll want to stop here, but if you're ravenous for any tidbits about Marvel's upcoming epic, today is your lucky day.

The images and the video come from the set in Valle D'Aosta, Italy, which is doubling as a fictional European city called Sokovia. Although we don't know every detail of the scene, ComingSoon reports that the sequence involves Hawkeye (Jeremy Renner), Scarlet Witch (Elizabeth Olsen) and Quicksilver (Aaron Taylor-Johnson) fleeing Ultron (voiced by James Spader). To be more specific, they're fleeing Ultron and his many minions, since tons of guys in motion-capture suits were also on hand for the scene (you can see them in their skintight glory right here).

The footage above involves a bunch of wrecked cars and a whole bunch of wind, offering us a tiny, far-away glimpse at Olsen in her superhero street wear. Our second look (below) is less comprehensible, but it does give us a look at a car getting blown up. Of course, the CGI lasers or what-not that cause the explosion will be added in post.

Not shown in the footage, though present in set photos, is Johnson in his Quicksilver costume, which looks very much like the concept art that was released last week during the 'Assembling a Universe' ABC special. What's most astonishing about this film set, with its green screens and industrial fans and crew members milling about, is that it will resemble a handsomely produced action scene when the film is finally finished. Movie magic, eh?

'The Avengers 2' will arrive in theaters on May 1, 2015.
