One can't be aware of 'The Big Bang Theory' without knowledge of its reverence for all things (maybe some things) 'Star Trek,' but upcoming episode "The Bakersfield Expedition" might push it to the limit. The latest from our favorite eggheads sees Leonard, Sheldon, Wolowitz and Raj all decked out head to to toe as their favorite 'Star Trek: The Next Generation' characters, getting a lot more than they bargained for on the way to a convention. Get a sneak peek of the latest 'Big Bang Theory' inside!

As 'The Big Bang Theory' continues to gobble up ratings (last week's "The Egg Salad Equivalency breaking records with close to 20 million viewers), it's cast continues to boldly go where it hasn't before. Where previously we've seen any number of 'Star Trek' references and cosplay, this Thursday's 'The Bakersfield Expedition" will see the main male gang dressing up as their favorite 'Star Trek: The Next Generation' characters, including Leonard as Picard, Sheldon as Data, Raj as Worf, and Howard as a Borg drone.

Entertainment Weekly caught the first glimpse of the cast in costume, while CBS has also issued a brand-new preview for the outing. In it, the foursome get stranded on their way to a convention, and wind up on a mini away mission of their very own. No word if any past 'TNG' stars will make an appearance, as have LeVar Burton, Wil Wheaton, and Brent Spiner.
