A new trailer for 'The Company You Keep' starring Shia LaBeouf, Susan Sarandon, Robert Redford and pretty much half of Hollywood has hit the web and we gotta say, LaBeouf looks kind of convincing in those smart-person glasses.

This new trailer for 'The Company You Keep' looks pretty promising: Shia LaBeouf stars as a journalist who discovers the identity of a former activist and trigger man (Robert Redford) for the Weather Underground, now living a comfy upper middle-class suburban life with his daughter. Redford's former colleague (Susan Sarandon) is in prison after living for years as a fugitive, but it looks like LaBeouf will also pay a visit to several other former radicals, played by the likes of Julie Christie, Sam Elliott and Brendan Gleeson.

Also on board this crazy-huge cast: Anna Kendrick, Stanley Tucci, Brit Marling, Terrence Howard, Richard Jenkins, Nick Nolte and Chris Cooper -- see, we told you, this movie has everyone.

The trailer indicates a pretty intriguing dramatic thriller, and we're particularly interested in the story of Sarandon's character, who seems as though she may have been wrongfully imprisoned -- perhaps for Redford's crime? And we know everyone likes to hate on Shia LaBeouf, but it looks like his acting has matured a bit.

Check out the trailer below for the film, which hits theaters on April 5.
