Director James Wan has built a career out of horrifying audiences and 'The Conjuring' looks to be no different. The new poster for the film suggests that it will have more in common with the creepy chills of 'Insidious' than the gross-out gore of the 'Saw' series, which will be a relief to horror fans with weak stomachs. Check out the poster for yourself below.

At first glance, the 'Conjuring' poster appears to be all about the creepy farmhouse with a noose hanging from the tree in the front yard, but look a little closer. You'll know it when you see it. In any case, the house certainly looks creepy enough to house a horror movie and if it's half as scary as 'Insidious,' we'll be pleased.

One thing the poster doesn't sell is the surprisingly strong cast, which includes Vera Farmiga, Patrick Wilson, Ron Livingston and Lilli Taylor, all of whom should lend the appropriate dramatic gravitas to any ghostly goings-on. The "based on true events" story follows paranormal investigators Ed and Lorraine Warren (Wilson and Farmiga) as they investigate a haunted farmhouse and encounter more than they bargained for.

'The Conjuring' opens on July 19, where it should be a welcome relief from all of the massive summer blockbusters.
