While Need for Speed: Rivals might be the first racing game that's going to be released on the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 (along with current-gen consoles), Ubisoft's The Crew holds two superior distinctions from its racer rival: it will be exclusive to next-gen consoles, and will focus on a seamless massively multiplayer online experience, with tons of player-controlled drivers interacting with you.

Speaking of drivers, this title was developed by the team that did the last title in the Driver franchise, and Driver's mission-based gameplay and sandbox-like world appear to be captured in an MMO-like manner, where you can party up with multiple drivers in order to tackle the more difficult missions that you normally could not achieve alone. The trailer's focus on car-assembly hints that players will be able to assemble their car and change out its individual pieces for specific types of functionality.

Be ready to assemble your own fast and furious crew in Q1 2014 for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC.
