The first trailer for 'The Dictator' didn't give much in the way of plot and instead promised a fictional narrative version of the mockumentary characters we've come to expect from Sacha Baron Cohen. This first official clip strips away a bit of the goofy caricature in favor of plot...

But are you interested in what he's selling?

This clip, courtesy of Yahoo!, shows Cohen, a fallen dictator forced to live in America as a nobody, starting his new job at a health foods store (think Whole Foods) under the tutelage of an earthy Anna Faris. The film also co-stars John C. Reilly and Ben Kingsley.

While the comedy is certainly lacking -- save for Faris' glass ceiling line -- and Cohen isn't doing anything we're not accustomed to from the comedian, Faris' role looks to be a refreshing change of pace for the actress who's made a name for herself playing the ditz.

'The Dictator' hits theaters May 16. Hopefully it'll hit our funny bones, as well.
