The Flash’ managed to make quick work of Captain Cold and Heat Wave in this past week’s “Revenge of the Rogues,” stopping on the way to secure a season 2 pickup, but will DC’s Pied Piper be so easy to quiet? See for yourself in the full set of photos from next Tuesday’s all-new ‘The Flash’ installment “The Sound and the Fury!”

‘Smash’ star Andy Mientus will join next week’s ‘The Flash’ as Harrison Wells’ old protege Hartley Rathaway, better known to comics fans as DC villain “Pied Piper.” And while Barry wouldn’t dream of hitting a guy with glasses (Captain Cold’s goggles not withstanding), Rathaway looks to actually get one over on the Flash with his special brand of sonic weaponry. Elsewhere, it looks as if Barry and Joe get in a bit more bonding time, while Dr. Wells clears the air in a press conference.

From The CW’s official description of “The Sound and the Fury”:

Dr. Wells’ (Tom Cavanagh) former protégée, Hartley Rathaway (guest star Andrew Mientus), returns to seek revenge on his mentor after being affected by the particle accelerator explosion. Now able to manipulate sound waves, the brilliant Rathaway is a dangerous threat to both Wells and The Flash (Grant Gustin).

Meanwhile, Iris (Candice Patton) is thrilled when she’s hired by the Central City Picture News as their newest cub reporter. Unfortunately, her editor (guest star Tom Butler) pairs her with a veteran reporter, Mason Bridge (guest star Roger Howarth), who wants nothing to do with her. Cisco (Carlos Valdes) recalls his first day on the job at S.T.A.R. Labs when he met Hartley and Caitlin (Danielle Panabaker). Joe (Jesse L. Martin) asks Eddie (Rick Cosnett) for a favor but asks him to keep it a secret from Barry.
