CW's 'The Flash' Trailer Teaser: First Look at the Fastest Man Alive in Motion!

EDIT
|

We're still not sure how to feel now that The CW's 'Arrow' has officially spun off 'The Flash' into his own series confirmed ordered for the fall, but it seems our fears may soon be put to rest with our first look at Grant Gustin's Barry Allen in motion as the fastest man alive. See the first footage of 'The Flash''s super-speed and find out when we'll see a new sneak peek right now!

All eyes will be on 'Arrow' this week for Wednesday's epic season 2 finale "Unthinkable," but it seems The CW managed to speed one by us in the latest update of the finale trailer. Evidently we'll see more than Oliver Queen's final battle with Slade, as The CW has promised an exclusive first-look at 'The Flash' series, adding a dash of super-speed to the closing seconds of the above trailer! It's not much, and it's hard to say if the footage is only edited to give the appearance of Oliver's involvement, but the effects at least look reasonably polished.

Greenlit for (at least) 13 episodes, ‘The Flash’ has cast Tom Cavanagh as Harrison Wells and Candice Batton as Iris West, daughter to Jesse L. Martin’s Detective West, along with Carlos Valdes as Cisco Ramon, better known as DC character Vibe. ‘The Vampire Diaries‘ star Rick Cosnett will portray Central City Police transfer Detective Eddie Thawne, while Danielle Panabaker plays Caitlin Snow, a highly intelligent bioengineering expert and an early incarnation of DC villain Killer Frost. Original ‘Flash’ star John Wesley Shipp will also appear in the ‘Arrow’ spinoff as well, though producers aren’t divulging the details of his role just yet.

Well, what are you waiting for? Speed through the 'Arrow' trailer above for a first look at 'The Flash' in motion, and stay tuned for the latest on DC's scarlet speedster in his new CW home! What do you think of our latest look at the new superhero series?
