The Flash will cool his heels for at least another week, but the Scarlet Speedster’s March 17 return will be anything but easy, judging by the CW spinoff’s latest trailer. Not only does Star Wars star Mark Hamill reprise his role as DC’s Trickster, but so too do we see The Tomorrow People castoff Peyton List as a new “Rogue,” and Liam McIntyre’s debut as the new Weather Wizard!

The latest action-packed trailer (via People) bridges a connection between CBS original 1990 Flash and the current incarnation, as Mark Hamill’s past Trickster photos are even incorporated into the aged villain’s arrival. In addition to the new generation of Trickster plaguing Central City, Barry will also have to contend with Spartacus star Liam McIntyre bringing rain (and tidal waves) as the new Weather Wizard, as well as some “Rogue Time,” now joined by the likes of Leonard Snart’s sister Lisa (Peyton List).

Of course there’s still Harrison Wells’ unveiling as the Reverse Flash, and a hint of Barry’s biggest challenge to date, traveling back through time itself. So reads The CW’s official description of next Tuesday’s “Out of Time”:

LIAM MCINTYRE GUEST STARS AS THE WEATHER WIZARD; CISCO REALIZES DR. WELLS IS HIDING SOMETHING

Mark Mardon aka The Weather Wizard (guest star Liam McIntyre) appears in Central City intent on avenging his brother Clyde’s death, and sets his sights on Joe (Jesse L. Martin), who shot Clyde. When Mardon attacks Joe and Barry (Grant Gustin), Barry is able to super-speed them to safety but Mardon gets away. Barry warns Joe not to go after a meta-human alone but Joe doesn’t listen and ends up in grave danger.

Meanwhile, Cisco (Carlos Valdes) looks into the night the team captured the Reverse Flash and realizes something doesn’t add up and begins to wonder whether Joe was right about Dr. Wells (Tom Cavanagh). Barry and Linda (guest star Malese Jow) end up on an awkward double date with Eddie (Rick Cosnett) and Iris (Candice Patton).

You can watch The Flash run “Out of Time” against his myriad new foes in the trailer below, and stay tuned for the latest on the March 17 return!
