Benjamin Walker is a busy actor as of late. The star of the upcoming action thriller 'Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter' in now in negotiations to star alongside another strapping young lad in another great adventure story.

Variety reports that Walker is in talks to star alongside The Man of Steel Henry Cavill in 'The Great Wall,' that exploring the construction of the Great Wall of China. The movie is going to be directed by Ed Zwick for Legendary East. Zwick co-wrote the screenplay with Marshall Herskovitz.

Legendary East was launched in June by Asian investors. The plan is to have one or two films produced a year, this being the first one. Walker was going to star alongside 'Paradise Lost' with Bradley Cooper but that project was scrapped. Cooper is going to start shooting 'The Hangover Part III' this summer. So instead, Walker will star in HBO's "Muhammad Ali's Greatest Fight."

Walker is still pretty new to the big screen, having been a stage guy most of his acting career. He did star in some well known films like 'Kinsey' and 'Flags of Our Fathers' for Clint Eastwood. Now he's going to be throwing axes and killing vampires before heading over to China to see how the Great Wall was built. 'Tis strange, that whole acting thing.
