Hmm, what could this be? The official Twitter account for Quentin Tarantino’s The Hateful Eight is promising a big announcement for tomorrow, December 14, and we have a sneaking suspicion (okay, it seems pretty obvious) that the full list of theaters playing the 70mm Roadshow version of the film will be announced. If you’re dying to see Tarantino’s latest the way it was meant to be seen, you better get ready to do a lot of browser-refreshing tomorrow morning.

The Weinstein Company has yet to officially announce the full list of theaters playing the 70mm Roadshow print of The Hateful Eight, though some preliminary lists have been circulated online. It’s safe to assume that we’ll get the official listing of the 100 screens playing this special version of the film, although it’s unclear if tickets will go on sale tomorrow or if individual theaters will coordinate their ticket sales separately.

Either way, you should keep an eye out for the announcement tomorrow and be prepared to buy your tickets — or have a dependable friend at the ready to assist.

The Hateful Eight stars Kurt Russell, Samuel L. Jackson, Walton Goggins, Jennifer Jason Leigh, Bruce Dern, Michael Madsen, Tim Roth and Demian Bichir, and hits select theaters on December 25 before going nationwide on January 1.
