'The Hunger Games: Mockingjay' District Posters: Meet the Heroes of Panem

Much like how the films themselves are fashion forward and visually dynamic, the marketing for the 'Hunger Games' movies is just as artistically unique, but the latest round of promotional posters for 'Mockingjay, Part 1,' the first part of the final chapter in the saga, are the most visually stunning pieces we've seen from the franchise. Featuring heroes from every district, these Panem propaganda posters have us even more pumped for all the craziness that's gonna go down in the final two films.

Panem has its very own government website, TheCapitol.pn, which released these posters as part of its viral marketing campaign to honor "district heroes" who embody the spirit of the people, like District 7's Elias Haan, a man who lost a leg and is seen posing with his ax, or District 6's Malcolm Kastel, posing with a giant tire and his matching tire pants, which is kind of awesome. Then there's the heartbreaking photo of 6-year-old Lily Elsington from District 12, covered in dirt, posing with a gas mask and eating an apple. You can check out these and more below.

'The Hunger Games: Mockingay, Part 1' features Jennifer Lawrence reprising her role as Katniss Everdeen, as she's whisked away to the hidden District 13 to lead a rebellion against the tyrannical capitol. The film also stars Josh Hutcherson, Liam Hemsworth, Elizabeth Banks, Stanley Tucci, Jeffrey Wright, Natalie Dormer and Gwendoline Christie of 'Game of Thrones,' Julianne Moore, and the late, great Philip Seymour Hoffman, to name a few.

The film hits theaters on November 21, while 'Part 2' will drop in November 2015.
