The first official trailer for Jon Favreau’s live-action version of The Jungle Book is arriving on Monday, but before we get to that, Disney has offered up the first teaser for the upcoming film, giving you a little sneak peek of what’s in store. It’s not much, but it’s enough to make us eager to see what the trailer has to offer in a couple of days.

Disney dropped this teaser on their official Instagram:

It is definitely the epitome of a teaser — a bit of an appetizer for what we’ll see on Monday — and gives us a brief look at Mowgli, played by newcomer Neel Sethi. While Sethi and much of the set is live-action, the animal characters will be CG, including Scarlett Johansson as Kaa the python, Idris Elba as the tiger Shere Khan, Ben Kingsley as the panther Bagheera, Christopher Walken as the orangutan King Louie, and Bill Murray as the friendly bear Baloo.

The Jungle Book is the next in Disney’s ever-growing lineup of live-action remakes of their classic animated films, which also includes Bill Condon’s Beauty and the Beast and Tim Burton’s Dumbo, as well as a Winnie the Pooh movie written by Alex Ross Perry, a Tinker Bell movie starring Reese Witherspoon, and live-action versions of Mulan and Pinocchio — to name a few.

Here’s the official synopsis for The Jungle Book:

Directed by Jon Favreau (“Chef,” “Iron Man,” “Elf”), based on Rudyard Kipling’s timeless stories and inspired by Disney’s classic animated film, “The Jungle Book” is an all-new live-action epic adventure about Mowgli (newcomer Neel Sethi), a man-cub who’s been raised by a family of wolves. But Mowgli finds he is no longer welcome in the jungle when fearsome tiger Shere Khan (voice of Idris Elba), who bears the scars of Man, promises to eliminate what he sees as a threat. Urged to abandon the only home he’s ever known, Mowgli embarks on a captivating journey of self-discovery, guided by panther-turned-stern mentor Bagheera (voice of Ben Kingsley), and the free-spirited bear Baloo (voice of Bill Murray). Along the way, Mowgli encounters jungle creatures who don’t exactly have his best interests at heart, including Kaa (voice of Scarlett Johannsson), a python whose seductive voice and gaze hypnotizes the man-cub, and the smooth-talking King Louie (voice of Christopher Walken), who tries to coerce Mowgli into giving up the secret to the elusive and deadly red flower: fire.

The Jungle Book hits theaters on April 15, 2016.
