Fans of HBO Aaron Sorkin drama 'The Newsroom' (come on, there's at least a few of you) were somewhat let down by the initial season 3 teaser, which offered little more than xeroxed pages of the final episode scripts. And while a proper trailer is still to come before the November premiere, find out what's got Will McAvoy so dapper, and what McKenzie's shooting at in our first footage from 'The Newsroom''s final season!

"Don't reach for common ground, reach for higher ground," says Jeff Daniels' Will McAvoy in the first 'Newsroom' final season footage, interspersed among HBO's fall 2014 preview trailer. And look what else! MacKenzie shoots up a firing range! Neil mugs for the camera! Dapper Will is dapper, and slapping Charlie five on the down-low! Olivia Munn remains attractive! That said, Sloan certainly wouldn't approve of such shallow observation.

Is she angry with me? Is she hungry? Is it lupus?

Details have been somewhat scarce of 'The Newsroom''s final six episodes, though we know at least the November run will see '30 Rock' star Keith Powell given a recurring role, while the show's floating timeline has been said to cover the Boston Marathon Bombings, among other topical events. Series creator Aaron Sorkin will once again return to write each episode, in spite of production difficulties in season 2 that saw the overall episode order reduced by three hours.

We'll stop the presses when a real trailer arrives for the November premiere, but in the meantime, check out our first footage of 'The Newsroom' season 3 above, and give us your predictions in the comments!
