While we're still not sure we even want 'The Office' to spin-off Dwight Schrute into 'The Farm,' it's starting to look like NBC would disappoint more and more actors if they didn't go through with it.  Last week 'The Farm' had made its most intriguing casting yet by picking up 'Breaking Bad' player Matt Jones, but the latest is poised to steal the show with his eccentricity.  Meet Dwight Schrute's great uncle Heinrich Manheim, but what 'Die Hard' vet nabbed the role?

According Deadline,' 'The Office' spin-off 'The Farm' has picked up yet another key player in the form of 'Die Hard 2' and 'It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia' star Tom Bower.  Bower will take the role of Dwight Schrute's great uncle Heinrich Manheim, a charming, greedy, and manipulative fellow who may or may not have spent some time in Argentina as a German Socialist.

The character will first appear in ‘The Office’ season 9 episode ‘The Farm’ as part of the spin-off’s backdoor pilot, while Bower would become a series regular if NBC moves forward with ‘The Farm.’  The Dwight Schrute-centric spin-off sees the paper salesman departing his salesman life at Dunder-Mifflin in order to recruit his estranged family in running a bed-and-breakfast bequeathed by their great aunt.

Bower joins the most recent casting of 'Breaking Bad' and 'Community' star Matt Jones as Dwight's mysterious cousin Zeke,  Thomas Middleditch as Dwight’s younger brother Jeb, and sister Fanny cast earlier with ‘Roswell’s Majandra Delfino in the role.

What do you think?  Does Tom Bower make the idea of a Dwight Schrute spin-off any more intriguing to you?  Will you watch ‘The Farm’ if NBC goes through with the series?  Give us your thoughts on the new series in the comments below!
