This is your emergency broadcast system to tell you that the 'Purge 2' trailer is finally online, and it brings back such fond memories of last year's hit summer horror -- only this time, we're headed away from the comfort of suburbia and straight into the heart of the city.

If you recall, the first 'Purge' introduced us to a world where the US government allows all crime, including murder, to become legal for one night a year in the hopes of maintaining societal stability as citizens work out their aggressions. While a wealthy family unit led by Ethan Hawke and Lena Headey attempted to keep attackers from infiltrating their home, 'The Purge 2,' officially titled 'The Purge: Anarchy,' sees Zach Gilford and Kiele Sanchez surviving the night in a big city after their car breaks down.

While Universal and Blumhouse Productions have yet to release an official plot description, we know that 'The Purge 2' also stars Frank Grillo ('Captain America 2'), Michael K. Williams ('RoboCop'), Carmen Ejogo and Keith Stanfield. According to Gilford in previous statements, "it’s the same day of the year and it takes place in the city where there are no security systems and it’s just like a war zone where people are just trying to survive." James DeMonaco, who helmed the first film, returned to direct and script the sequel, as well.

'The Purge 2' will commence June 20, but until then, check out the first trailer embedded above!
