Jimmy Kimmel’s “The Situation” Supercut Shows the Media Is at a Loss for Words

Beloved 'Jersey Shore' star and reality show personality, Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino recently found himself in a bit of a pickle, when he was indicted for tax evasion. As it so happens, Sorrentino's nickname is not "The Pickle" (though, that would be awesome), but "The Situation," which applies just as well to the occasion at hand -- at least, that's what everyone who works in television news who covered the story seems to think.

You know how, sometimes, you say the same word over and over and then it loses all meaning? Turns out, the same thing can happen when you just hear the same word over and over. It just...doesn't mean anything anymore. Jimmy Kimmel pointed out the decided lack of creativity of a vast swath of news reporters on last night's 'Jimmy Kimmel Live,' and yes, after less than a minute, it all sounded weirdly meaningless.
