A new trailer for the latest installment in the Transporter franchise has arrived, filled with crazy car stunts and crazier action, and a brand new leading man by way of Game of Thrones star Ed Skrein. Skrein takes on the Jason Statham role in The Transporter Refueled, which looks pretty much like every other Transporter movie, minus Statham.

Like Terminator Genisys, The Transported Refueled also bucks the tradition of using a colon in the title. That aside, the new sequel looks…fine. Like its predecessors, it’s big on car chases and big, wacky action set pieces, but it remains to be seen if Skrein is a suitable replacement for Statham.

Skrein is best known as the original Daario Naharis on Game of Thrones, and he can also be seen in the upcoming Deadpool solo movie as big bad Ajax. He seems charismatic enough, and certainly game for the action, but it’s unlikely that the latest installment will measure up to the Statham films.

Frank Martin (played by newcomer Ed Skrein), a former special-ops mercenary, is now living a less perilous life – or so he thinks – transporting classified packages for questionable people. When Frank’s father (Ray Stevenson) pays him a visit in the south of France, their father-son bonding weekend takes a turn for the worse when Frank is engaged by a cunning femme-fatale, Anna (Loan Chabanol), and her three seductive sidekicks to orchestrate the bank heist of the century. Frank must use his covert expertise and knowledge of fast cars, fast driving and fast women to outrun a sinister Russian kingpin, and worse than that, he is thrust into a dangerous game of chess with a team of gorgeous women out for revenge.

From the producers of LUCY and the TAKEN trilogy, THE TRANSPORTER REFUELED is a fresh personification of the iconic role of Frank Martin, that launches the high-octane franchise into the present-day and introduces it to the next generation of thrill-seekers.

The Transporter Refueled hits theaters on September 4.
