New ‘The Walking Dead’ 2015 Return Trailer Slow-Jams the Apocalypse

After the harrowing midseason finale that was ‘The Walking Dead’’s 2014 “Coda,” Rick Grimes and his fellow survivors definitely need to blow off some steam. What better way, then, to kick off the latest trailer for the AMC drama’s 2015 return, than to slow jam firing blindly into some mist? Is there angst and muted shouting, you ask? Oh yes, friends. Oh yes.

“Surviving together is all that matters,” croons a weary Rick Grimes in the latest ‘Walking Dead’ season 5 spot, to say nothing of Andrew Lincoln’s strong fake beard game. Everyone else is there too of course, shouting in slow motion and firing wildly at unseen targets in every direction. One thing is certain of Rick’s people, when ‘The Walking Dead’ returns with new episodes on February 8:

They really hate that mist.

Showrunner Scott Gimple previously teased that the group will undergo a “huge change” in situation, both visually and story-wise, which would seem to resemble a comic location emerging around this time. And while we hope she’s not hiding in that mist, we’ve also yet to meet ‘American Horror Story’ star Alexandra Breckinridge’s character, who has been said to recur.
