Perhaps more-so than any of our favorite shows to return this fall, we're most eagerly anticipating season 3 of 'The Walking Dead,' literally and figuratively to be the show's biggest yet.  Promotion keeps shambling on before the series' October 14 premiere, but how would you like a look at the official full-length poster?  Clear some space on your wall, because Rick Grimes needs to take aim!

Courtesy of AMC, we've just gotten our first look at 'The Walking Dead' season 3's official poster, an image we'll no doubt be seeing plastered all around town between now and the show's October 14 premiere.  In the bad-ass new one-sheet, Rick Grimes (Andrew Lincoln) stands atop an overturned prison bus and takes aim at an unseen force, ready to defend his and the other survivors' new home in lockup.

So what might Rick be pointing his iconic revolver at?  The poster reinforces the tagline glimpsed in the Comic-Con 2012 trailer to "Fight the Dead.  Fear the Living," though neither seem to be present in the image.  Behind Rick you'll see the survivors' new home first glimpsed in season 2 finale "Beside the Dying Fire," that of an abandoned prison the group will fight to clear, and ultimately defend from Woodbury and the villainous Governor (David Morrissey).

‘The Walking Dead’ will premiere its third season on Sunday, October 14 with “Seed,” though in the meantime we have plenty of shots, theories and interviews to get your ‘Walking Dead’ fix until then.  Check out the incredible new poster in all its glory below, and tell us what you're looking forward to from 'The Walking Dead' season 3 in the comments below!
