‘The Walking Dead’ Season 3 Fights the Dead In Bloody New Promo

As much as we love the recent rash of teasers AMC put out for ‘The Walking Dead‘ season 3, taking as much zombie action as we can before the October 14 premiere, we’d be hard-pressed not to notice a lack of new footage.  Thankfully, today’s all new look at the third season of AMC’s zombie-killing thriller takes us right inside the walls of the prison, as the survivors fight the dead to carve out a new home for themselves!  But what’s hidden in the new promo?

In a month’s time, the dead will descend upon us once more as AMC unveils the third season of Robert Kirkman’s comic-adapted mega hit ‘The Walking Dead,’ bringing our favorite survivors fresh hell as they find a new home behind bars while contending with the forces of their fearful fellow living.  But before they get there, they’ve got their work cut out for them in the prison.

‘The Walking Dead’ season 3′s latest promo takes us right in the middle of the action, as Rick, Glenn, Maggie, Daryl and T-Dog group together to clear what walkers they can in an effort to make the prison livable, while elsewhere Andrea and her new friend Michonne try to cut their own path.

But if intuition serves, who’s that ominous fellow holding a gun to Andrea’s head with his left hand?  Might it be someone we’ve previously seen to be asking for a hug for their old pal?  Could that explain why Andrea wakes in Woodbury walls, taken against her will?
